The Steigerhaus Sauerland
The Steigerhaus in Bestwig (Andreasberg) was built in 1951 for the mining employees of Stolberg Zinc.
We discovered the massive house in 2017 on the hill with this wonderful view of the landscape.
The quiet location and the adjoining huge playground and leisure area were the reason for the first ideas of a holiday home for active holidaymakers and families.
Our goal was to furnish 5 apartments so that guests feel at home from the very first moment.
Contemporary, cosy, individual but also rustic.
The materials should match the house. Plastered walls, natural oak wood with so-called "Waldkante", old unique pieces,
massive wooden tables, and last but not least a lot of modern art combined with old paintings.
The apartments have between 69 and 86 square meters and offer space for 5 to 6 people.
In the 6th apartment there will soon be an open studio, of course also for our creative guests.
We offer the complete house also for groups up to 25 persons. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
